Parris In The Crucible

How does Miller present the character Parris in The Crucible?

In the book The Crucible, it is clear that Arthur Miller has thought actually grave about each, individual character. The character Reverend Parris is straight away presented as a very high up, intelligent part and likes to speak out of himself as a very respectable person. At first readers are made to feel bad for him but then you quickly learn that Parris is just worried about his reputation.
