For so many years of anticipation and try for of being in America, I finally made it. I was so happy when I got the news that morning on January 20th, 2009. I started singing, dancing and even jumping up and agglomerate telling my siblings and neighbors that I was going to America, the dream of many Nigerians because of its proud standard of living, education and better economy. But each prison term I remembered the condition that prompted this journey, I ended up with great sadness in my heart. At convictions, I sobbed, refused having any fare and even withdrew from people just to be left alone. This was in general because my younger brother, Emmanuel, lost his two arms in an burning in my country Nigeria, on the 8th of August, 2008 while assay to help a friend fix his TV Antenna, and I had to quit my college education to be with him as his care giver to help him with his daily grooming as my own helper to a beloved brother.

I sat quietly in the plane with my brother beside me, watching and listening to people and each bit of information passed across. I sought for a blighter because I knew I would be needing some assistance with those information, plainly I found none. This made it a little spoiled for me coupled with the foods that were served that tasted awful to me probably because they were not the kind Ive always had at home. But with God on our side, a passenger opted to help. After about twelve hours of flight, we landed safely at Atlanta for a connecting flight to Kansas City, Missouri.
