Australia in the 1900s was a working mans nirvana.

In the 1900s, the working conditions in Australia were very goodish, because of these good conditions Australia was labelled a working mans paradise by its citizens and people from other countries. So was Australia really a working mans paradise or was this tho a myth. The pay in Australia was quite good compared to England and America. The pay for the working class was being improved by introducing new laws to improve the equality of their pay. The living conditions for workers in Australia were better compared to those in England and America. Australians were better paid and therefore were commensurate to afford better quality food and were able to lie with more comfortable lives.
