The book Go Ask Alice shows these effects by means of the diary of a young anonymous teen little missy named Alice. The book galvanizes off with her as a normal girl with a small group of tight friends. Quickly though we see a reposition in Alice, when she takes her first drug at a society unintentionally. The drugs cause Alice to drift absent from her family, make disadvantageously decisions and get out her life.
In the novel Go Ask Alice, Alice loses coatingness with her family as she gets deeper and deeper into drugs. When she first tries drugs Alice is at her grandparents during the summer. She was going to go home briefly then decided against it. She had made friends with the popular kids in the study and had just realized the beauty of LSD. This kept her from going patronize home with her parents. Right after she takes it she claims It was fun! It was glorious! (Alice, 24).The drugs start changing her perception about her parents as well.
She was once close with her family and got along with her parents. She now says If only parents would listen! If only they would let us talk instead of forever and eternally and interminably harping and preaching and nagging (Alice, 46). This shows her relationship with her parents has obviously changed. Alice also runs outdoor(a) with her friend Chris in the book without telling her parents. She has gotten to the point where drugs are more important to her than her family and she doesnt make an attempt to arrive it.
